Our refuge, our home
Ours is a family refuge, created by the brave and brilliant idea of Ilario Bonardelli who, with Rose, his wife, decided in 1963 to open a place in the beautiful Conca del Baremone, 1450 meters high, between the beautiful colors of pines and beeches. You can also stay, refresh not only the spirit but also the body with the juicy flavors of the typical mountain cuisine. Rifugio Rosa Baremone is easily reached by car, along a scenic route of rare beauty, but also by bike or on foot for the bravest.
One of the most charming path to be taken is the number 432 of CAI: a historical journey which accompanies the hiker in the trenches, defensive lines and fortifications mostly dating from the First World War with a breathtaking view of Lago d’Idro. Starting from Monte Suello (947 m a.s.l.) you can proceed in a southwesterly direction and reach the Passo del Baremone (1406 m a.s.l.) where is the homonymous refuge. The trail is in excellent condition, dug between white rocks, meadows overhanging the lake and small galleries. A really interesting historical itinerary.
